Nick Novack is an associate at Levy Konigsberg, LLP and represents men and women who have had their lives completely disrupted due to asbestos-related diseases including mesothelioma, lung cancer, and throat cancer. He works in Levy Konigsberg’s New York office, and has represented families from over a dozen states across the country. Since he joined Levy Konigsberg in 2012, his work has helped secure over $30 million dollars in settlements for his clients. Nick focuses on litigating his clients’ personal injury and wrongful death claims, and aggressively fights on their behalf both in and out of the courtroom. Nick co-tried a case resulting in a $16.5 million dollar verdict in New York County for a family who lost their wife and mother to mesothelioma. The jury found that her use of asbestos-contaminated cosmetic talcum powder as a teenager caused her terrible disease and unfortunate death.
Nick is a passionate advocate for asbestos-victims, and often maintains close relationships with his clients. Though he is based in New York, he does not hesitate to meet with his clients no matter where they are located across the country. Nick’s unwavering dedication to investigation is the foundation for the excellent settlements he obtains for his clients. Before heading to court, Nick will spend countless hours researching and investigating his clients’ sources of exposure to asbestos, and how the corporations responsible recklessly or negligently caused innocent men and women to be harmed. Nick is exceptionally familiar with hundreds of asbestos products that his clients have worked with thanks to both his 10 years of experience fighting for families and his hands-on experience in the mechanical and construction fields prior to becoming a lawyer. Nick’s hard work and commitment to victims’ rights has earned him a solid reputation, and he is respected by attorneys for both plaintiffs and defendants. This year, The National Trial Lawyers, a professional organization of America’s top trial attorneys, selected Nick as one of New York State’s “Top 40 Under 40” trial attorneys.
Nick graduated from the University at Buffalo, and later from New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. He lives in Manhattan with his fiancé Mary and their 80 pound mutt, Sienna. He regularly volunteers at high school mock trial competitions, where he helps New York’s youth grow into aspiring future lawyers. Nick enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family, working with his hands, and practicing his golf swing.
