Tal Stanecky
Associate
Tal is an associate at Levy Konigsberg’s New York office, where he litigates a broad range of claims involving victims of sexual and physical abuse, with a strong emphasis on individuals who were abused as children.
Prior to joining Levy Konigsberg, Tal began his legal career working as a diverse litigator with a focus on the representation of injured individuals and families in all areas of personal injury, including catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. He has also litigated in a range of matters under state statutes in the appellate forum.
Before embarking on a legal career, Tal was a practicing mental health professional working in nationally recognized private mental health facilities. Here, Tal worked hands-on as a therapeutic counselor, liaison, and advocate for primarily non-disabled and intellectually disabled children and adolescents suffering from mental health disabilities and the aftereffects of sexual and physical abuse, amongst a range of other patient populations.
Tal received his J.D. from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2016 while working full-time in legal, federal regulation, and code enforcement roles for a multinational corporation and associated multinational non-profit organization focused on the growth, well-being, and education of children worldwide. In law school, Tal acted as an agent of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Lawyer Assistance Program, advocating on behalf of the well-being and mental health of his fellow Juris Doctor candidates and bar admitted NYS attorneys.
Tal received his B.S. in Psychology from Towson University in 2010.
