EMILY DOLGIN
Associate
BIO
Emily Dolgin is an associate attorney at Levy Konigsberg LLP, where she represents survivors of sexual abuse in complex civil litigation. Her practice reflects a career-long commitment to zealous, survivor-centric advocacy and holding powerful institutions accountable.
Prior to joining Levy Konigsberg, Emily worked as both an associate and appellate attorney representing survivors of child sexual abuse, primarily on cases against school districts, foster care, and religious organizations. At her previous firm, she played a significant role in writing various appellate briefs, one of which is now seminal case law in California. She began her legal career as an associate at a large, multi-national law firm practicing commercial litigation.
Emily’s commitment to advocating for survivors began long before law school. Throughout her entire time in college, she was a policy and advocacy intern at actress and advocate Mariska Hargitay’s Joyful Heart Foundation. She worked alongside dedicated experts on a nationwide campaign to end the national rape kit backlog, as well as to pass the Child Victim’s Act in New York. In 2018, she was a policy intern at the Biden Foundation in Washington, D.C., working to further then-Vice President Biden’s mission to end gender-based violence. She brings her last decade of experience and trauma-informed advocacy to her current practice.
Emily graduated from Fordham University School of Law in 2022 as a Stein Scholar in Public Interest Law. While in law school, Emily was a Staff Editor and Symposium Committee member for the Fordham Urban Law Journal. She also competed as a member of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy program. She gained additional litigation and advocacy experience as a student lawyer in Fordham’s Federal Litigation Clinic, as well as a legal extern with the Legal Aid Society’s Wrongful Convictions Unit. She earned her B.A. in American Studies from Barnard College in 2019.
She is licensed to practice in New York.
